Drea : Ritual Review
Drea (Andrea LeClaire) hails from Boston, Massachusetts. The seventeen-year-old has a love for playing instruments, piano, and guitar, and singing. When she isn’t writing new music, rehearsing for a performance, or recording in the studio, she also enjoys sketching and painting pictures. Under the management of Blu & Grae Music, Drea is growing her musical catalog and has captured the attention of Grammy award-winning audio engineer Ken Lewis (Kanye West, Beyonce, Drake, etc.). Drea is gaining consistent visibility on social media. Recently she has joined La Reserve Records, and her latest single is titled “Ritual.”
Opening with a very bright electric guitar part, Drea’s soulful voice brings the melody into focus. The bass and drum help settle the guitar for the chorus. The star of the show though is Drea’s voice, her projection and technical abilities are far beyond her young age. Drea’s vocal backgrounds are also stirring. The song has lyrics that are easy to relate to and a melody that will stick with you.
Drea has some serious pipes for such a young age. This is a female artist to keep up with on social media as she releases music. The production is on the raw side, as she develops her career, that will undoubtedly change too.
