D!lemma : Acid Funk Review

D!lemma-cdD!lemma is the musical brainchild of Adil Bari, a California-based electronic musician, digital artist, and producer living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Music has always been a part of his world. When he was eight, he learned to play various instruments and performed at small venues. D!lemma produces his own hybrid compositions influenced by multiple artists. As a multi-genre artist, he is passionate about creating music that pushes the boundaries.

“Acid Funk” brings us a big House beat with an exciting drop and build. D!lemma has a balance of electronic sounds and phat beats that makes you wanna move. With just the right amount of Techno, “Acid Funk” is constantly shifting and surprising. A dance floor banger with this one; close your eyes and get lost in these beats.

D!lemma has a strong momentum with “Acid Funk.” He maintains the momentum in creative ways, taking us on a journey where wonderful, accented Techno lines flow angularly over House beats. With just the right amount of polyphonic counterpoint and radiating synth voicings, there are no stiff moments but a flowing stream that inspires broad-minded dancers to move!

About The Author
Shannon Smith
A fan of music my entire life. Should that be enough, well it is for me. Who buys music, the fans. Who listens to music, the fans. Like me, there are many like-minded individuals that daily search for meaningful and new music to add to their playlist, their soundtrack of life. A life without music would Bb. Yes, I have seen that saying floating around for years, and truth is, its #truth. So, may I introduce you to Shannon Smith (me). I am the editor. A music junkie that can’t get enough music in my life. A nerd (proudly), with some mad love for technology and design. It is that desire that sparked Sound in Review. Life is busy, the reviews are meant to ultimately introduce and briefly talk about the music. We have a section called SIR Quote: this is my way of saying thank you, to the countless artists making the world a place of expression. Show yours by rating each artists album, just as we have (collectively as writers), to show your support for your favorite artist.
