Matilde G : Milk N’ Honey Review

matilde-g-cdMatilde G (Girasole) is an Italian singer, songwriter, and performer based in Singapore that is building a reputation for pushing the boundaries of pop with her music and vocals. Matilde has always marched to her own beat and brings that quality to her passionate lyrics and scintillating melodies. She began writing her own songs at the age of 13, all while honing her musical skills of voice, the piano, and guitar, receiving her accreditations from the Trinity College of London. In 2020, Matilde independently released 4 singles, all of which have organically brought 1M streams and more than 90k monthly listeners. Recently she signed with The Kennel AB, a music label, publishing, production, and management company based in Sweden with an Asian regional office in Singapore. The Kennel AB has produced more than 100 #1 chart hits, with recent significant hits from Celine Dion, The Scorpions, BTS, Kygo, and Chainsmokers. Her songs are licensed by Universal Music Group in India and Malaysia. Matilde is now releasing her single “Milk N’ Honey.”

“Milk N’ Honey” was produced by Ludwing Lindell with songwriting credits going to Andreas Carlson, Daniel Caesar, Ludwig Lindell, and Matilde Girasole. The music sounds of Electro-Pop with influences of K-Pop. Matilde has a playful vocal style, and her power and tone match the setting as she puts her heart and soul into every note. The beat is dancefloor-ready, and the production has a slick sound with a bridge that has Matilde doing a rap-styled speaking section.

Matilde G is making a name for herself in the Electro-Pop genre with her beautiful vocals and appealing marketing and imagery. Her vocals are not overproduced, which allows for her sensual tone to be heard and enjoyed. Put Matilde G on your list, and be sure to join her growing following HERE.

About The Author
Shannon Smith
A fan of music my entire life. Should that be enough, well it is for me. Who buys music, the fans. Who listens to music, the fans. Like me, there are many like-minded individuals that daily search for meaningful and new music to add to their playlist, their soundtrack of life. A life without music would Bb. Yes, I have seen that saying floating around for years, and truth is, its #truth. So, may I introduce you to Shannon Smith (me). I am the editor. A music junkie that can’t get enough music in my life. A nerd (proudly), with some mad love for technology and design. It is that desire that sparked Sound in Review. Life is busy, the reviews are meant to ultimately introduce and briefly talk about the music. We have a section called SIR Quote: this is my way of saying thank you, to the countless artists making the world a place of expression. Show yours by rating each artists album, just as we have (collectively as writers), to show your support for your favorite artist.
